Hey all, new to the site, have a couple questions about my truck.. its an 04 1500 Z71. Cab and a half, loaded aside from leather.

first off, I have an Airbag light on all the time in the dash, when I first start the truck, the dash display comes up "SERVICE AIRBAG" I can clear the message, but the red light stays on. Just wondering if this is a common issue? or if anyone knows a simple fix, or where I could find a wiring diagram?

Next is headlights, how do I turn them off?? There automatic headlights, theres an "off" position on the switch that's spring loaded, but even holding it in the off position it wont kill the lights?? is there a trick to shutting off the lights or do i need to run a toggle switch to my lights for an on/off switch?

i think the airbag light is a common problem, take it to the dealer and have them look at it or research problems related to your truck, and for the lights, mine have a button thats just below the switch you're talkin about. i can push it 4 times and my lights go off, but you have to do it every time you get in the truck
