Does a 2004 5.3 have a Crankshaft Sensor?

Where is it located?

Thanks for the info. Have been diagnosing an intermittent no start - turns out to be a defective fuel pump - truck is 2004 with 47k - would you know if the replacement would fall under the GM emissions warranty or am paying for the replacement since I've passed the 3yr - 36,000 mile base warranty?

You're gonna have to foot the bill as it is not an emissions component.
