2004 Silverado-Cracked Head Repairs
My 2004 Silverado was making some bad noises at start-up so I took it to the dealership and turns out it has a cracked head due to some faulty part. The dealer called the zone representative and informed me they would pay for %50 of the cost for the $2400 repair. My question is: why should I have to pay anything for these rapairs? The truck has 39k miles and I am the second owner. I bought the truckin 2004 with 9k miles on it from a chevy dealership. I declined the warranty from the dealer at the time of purchase but shouldn't the manufacturer's warranty still be in affect? Has anyone else had a similar situation?

cracked heads
2005, 5.3l, 57k, and two cracked heads. Dealer has had it two weeks. Where is the class action lawsuit? How many cracked heads does it take for GM to admit the heads are junk?
