Question 2005 silverado

anti lock brakes are gone, now truck is making a grinding sound and a crunching sound when i trun to the right, new pads and roters?

Welcome to the forum..
The Antilock feature is component of the braking system and not directly related to the brakes themselves...it senses the pressure and the near lockup of the rotors and prevents a lockup situation...that said
the grinding could be the brakes but could also be the wheel bearings

thank you! thats what i was afraid of, my 2004 has a similar problem. trying to find out if there is recalls for these truck problems.
