2005 Silverado LS Crew Cab 1500 Dash Dimmer Switch
Question: Does the dash dimmer switch suppose to light up (words/symbols) like all the other control ***** on the dash?
My switch is starting to fail. Have to wiggle the wheel sometimes to get the dash lights to come back on. Now I just noticed that regardless if the switch is working or not, switch itself does not light up. I can't remember if it ever did.
Most replacement switch come with this note:
HDLMP & I/P LP DIMR & DM LP - w/o LED INDICATOR - SERVICE REPL FOR VEH w/LED INDICATOR – BASE<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

Does that mean that all replacements do not light up?
