I have a 2006 Siverado LT. I replaced my factory Stereo with a Sony CD/MP3 player due to issues I was having with it and no sound coming from the speakers. It worked fine for months and then all of a sudden it wouldn't power on. It would power up and show the correct time in the ACC position, but then shut off. Other times it would work fine for days. I was told it was an issue the radio. I replaced it with a Pioneer radio today. It worked great for most of the day. I got out of the truck and when I restarted it, it powered up and then shut down. This is driving me crazy.

I have also noticed that the engine hour meter keeps resetting itself. The milage and the trip counter is not affected.

Does anyone have a similar issue? If so, how do I fix these problems?
