2006 Silverado Z-71 upper control arm

2006 Silverado Z-71 upper control arm
As I was changing my oil, I noticed that the bracket weld (closest to the front of truck) on the upper control arm was cracked. I don't know anything about suspension, and I am worried this can cause a major problem or can I just get it rewelded. It's the bracket that limits the control arm at the bottom. If that makes sense. I need some advice as to what to do.

It's the droop stop. It limits the travel so you don't busy ball joints and what not. Do you have a levelin kit or a lift kit at all? I know a lot of people cut them off cause you're usually not at risk of damaging anything unless you're dune jumpin or beatin it in every mud hole.

Thank you
I didn't know what the stops were called. I have a 2 inch leveling kit, and I took my Silverado to get aligned yesterday and the guy at the shop said that it was fine. Thank you once again.
