Does anyone know how to turn off the drl's on the new body style 07 silverado for good?

 

What is a drl?

 

Daytime running lights. I to would like to know how to disable them and the stupid Auto feature. That is the only thing I don't like about my truck.

 

Remove the bulbs.

 

Why would you want to turn them off?

 

should be a fuse labeled drl in the fuse box.

 

I like remove the bulbs the best! Good one!

 

Removing the bulbs removes the regular headlights if I'm not mistaken.

 

Pulling the fuse or bulbs also disables the fog lights, as does cutting the wire. On the old bodystyles you could push the dome override 4 times, or splice two wires from the radio harness together. Does anyone know anything about this on the new body style?

 

On my 07 NBS Turning the headlight switch to the left will turn off the DRLs but you have to do it each time you start the truck.
