Default 2007 NBS Silverado Z71 LT hp help

ive decided to try and get as much little horsepower out of my truck as i can...

so what can i do to get 7 hp here and 7 hp there? motor is already on synthetic motor oil, im trying to stay cheap put throw your idea out anyways

oh and ya i got the tire pressure and blah bla blah...
i want to this truck to run clean and lots of hp in the future but only have a few bucks for now

nauticstar87 has a good place for u to start...here are some free or dirt cheap mods...if your state doesnt do emission test you can hollow out your catalytic converters....but it's illegal.....another free thing is to descreen your MAF some cars and trucks ecu dont respond very well to this so if you do it i wouldnt tear it up trying to get it out....also a k&n filter will help out.

Descreenig the MAF on the trucks is not a good idea. ON the trucks the air is turning a corner imediately in front of the sensor. The screen is needed to straighten the air flow. On the Corvettes and Camaros this is not an issue and the screen removal can be a benefit. This information from how to build a high performance GenIII. CAI, Exhaust and Tune. When you get the tune make sure it is based on any hardware changes you are doing to the truck.

thanks for leading in the right direction rubrhammer...as i have never descreened a maf on one of these trucks.....i have on several cars and they ran great!
