My front driver's and passenger's side door won't open from the inside. There's a cable broken on each door that attaches the inside door handle to the latch mechanism. Both broke the same week which is the strange thing. Apparently, there are two different length cables - a longer one for doors without power locks and a shorter one for doors with power locks. I've found the longer cable on-line to buy, but can't find the shorter one except if you buy it with the door lock actuator. Has anyone had a similar problem and been able to find cables? Thanks!

 

I see the same thing on GM parts direct, only comes with the $85 lock assembly

Thanks. I contacted that eBay seller to see what the length is. I found a another eBay seller with a cable, too. Contacted them and GMpartsdirect, and am awaiting their response. Can't thank you enough for your interest. I'll post what I find out.
