Question 2007 silverado radio

will a radio from a new model silverado fit a 2004 silverado?? i already have all the plugs and everything will i need to cut some parts?

onlinecarstereo.com -I can't even think back to how horrible my OEM audio used to sound.
On an 04 Silverado, for any aftermarket head unit, you'll need a "dataport adapter"(ask for one without the chimes), but you'll be glad you got away from that factory sound system. And a GM antenna adapter.

If the 07 head unit is too small for the 04, a company called Metra sells adapter kits.

The data system in the 2 trucks are different and this new radio will NOT work in this older truck.
unless you want to keep it stock, your best bet is to get a nice aftermarket deck, but as rivereye said, you will need an integration module that usually runs around $100, a dash kit, and an antenna adaptor
