2007 Silverado TPMS light on
2007 Silverado LT NBS 1500 4x4 155,000 miles. Had 4 new tires installed the other day (now on 3rd set for truck). Never had an issue with the TPMS system until they pulled it out of their shop, it was working fine when I dropped it off. I had the rebuild kits done not the entire sensor. Now the light is on solid and when I start it it tells me to check the tires and goes through all 4 locations. It also shows the correct pressure which is around 35-37 for all 4 locations. They checked the sensors with the hand held and it shows they are working. The truck is reading the correct pressure but the light is on and it tells me to check them. Any thoughts what could cause this? the tire dealer has never seen this.

Yes, they are different from the last set I had on the truck. Stock tires for the first 76,000 265/65 R18 load range SL 35# factory recommended pressure. Then went to a little bigger BFG load range E recommend pressure 80# for 80,000 miles. I keep them at 60# so the TPMS would not go on. Now back to stock size and load range and having issue with TPMS. Could it have learned a new pressure setting with the other tires? I don't remember anyone changing anything for the E rated tires.

what do you mean; you had four rebuild kits done? I never heard of anyone rebuilding a tpm.
the tire size and psi can be recalibrated in both the rcdlr and ebcm to accommodate the change. This will allow for the speedometer to read correctly and different psi settings. This would have to be changed by a technician.
to clarify; the dic is reading all four tires pressures and displaying the reading in the dash? Or is it displaying "--".
getting the codes read from the rcdlr would help.
