2008 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab lock quit working on passenger door in front.
Has been intermittant lately. What is involved in changing one or what can be checked?
Thanks...
Gary
Ps. I had posted about what to do about a seat belt that was on the wrong side. No one ever answered but a buddy twisted one edge of the belt over sort of like folding it and then forced the clip side over it and it was back over on the correct side. He's a big guy though and he struggled to get the buckle to move.
Thanks...

This is just a suggestion, not a diagnosis. I recommend having a certified technician inspect the vehicle.

Should have been a recall on these. 2008 silverado has a problem with this. I just changed one about 2 months ago. I have a friend that has changed two on his. You tube has video how to do this.

I just found an aftermarket one but wondering..
I guess it can't be any worse then the factory ones from what I'm reading.. Here's a picture of it. Is it the same thing. The place that sells it says it's for the 2008 Silverado 2500HD.

Let me know if you remember the looks of it..
Thanks..
