Default 2008 Silverado

I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3 1500 4x4 lt, i started getting a chirping sound the other day the sound sounds like its from one of the pullys but if you get under the truck it sounds like its coming from the bell housing area, anyone have any ideas what the cause might be?

Does it do it all the time? Is it an automatic transmission?

It is all the time it started last week. It is an automatic. Someone had told me it could be a lifter sticking so i put an oil treatment in last night ran it a little bit. This morning i didnt hear it until i went about 5 miles down the road.

A chirping sound is more like a bearing going bad. A lifter is more of a loud noise like a banging sound. When you open the hood, does it sound like it is coming from one of the pulleys or even the belt?
