I have a 2008 Silverado, 2WD, 5.3, LT, Z71. While sitting at a stoplight if feels like the truck is trying to accelerate, then it feels like it shifts...all while I'm sitting there with my foot on the brake, but when it feels like it shifts it jolts so hard I have to check my rear view mirror to make sure I didn't get rearended. I drive this truck for work so it has approx. 106,000 miles on it now, it has been doing it since about 40,000 miles. The dealer told me there was nothing wrong 3 times, then they gave me a service bulletin on it saying it was the slip-yoke at the transfer case or gas sloshing around in the fuel tank. Well I don't have a transfer case cause the truck is 2WD, the gas in the fuel tank is just ridiculous. Does anyone have a cure for this????? If I could figure out what the heck was causing it I can fix it myself. Please help!!!!

Hi crwalker2,
Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
I moved this thread to the Silverado section, you were in the Welcome section where most folks aren't going to notice a tech issue.
I also posted here to help bring it to the top of the field. You may also want to try a thread search in this section, it seems I saw something about this problem a few months back.
