Default 2009 Silverado 1500 LT Navigation Install

Hopefully someone can help me out here... I bought a 2009 Silverado 1500 LT with factory Bose (UQA) but no navigation. There is no rear seat entertainment. When you search Ebay, there are several different Navigation unit model numbers to choose from. Some people say you need an EXACT one to be compatible with your truck, others say any model # will work, it's simply a matter of programming.

Anyway, question is, I'm here in Southern California and apparently even the dealers don't really know about all this programming stuff. I was told there is a guy in Corona, CA who does this stuff, he even goes around to all the dealers to help them out, but I could not get a phone number for him. ***Does anyone have a contact for a GOOD tech who is here in Southern California?***

Thanks in advance
Tom

Welcome to the forum Tom! 949, cool, your right up the street from me, I am in Costa Mesa.

I dont know the answer to your issue but I bet the GM techs & other members here will know what you can do & who to contact. Give it a bit and they will see the thread.

I too would like to add the nav/dvd/rse option and am curious about the "how to do" and what part #s are needed.
