Working on 2011 3500 hd getting power to right hand trailer turn signal all the time. Even when key is off. Only way to get it to turn off is pulling the fuse for turn signal. Truck lights not affected. Both the fifth wheel plug and the pull behind plug have power to right turn signal terminal all the time. Has anyone ran into this before?

 

if both plug's were installed after market pull them out one buy one and look to see if any filament's of wire from the right turn are touching the terminal for the 12 vt lead power wire . also check all connection's from the trailer plug in the bed ton see wiring is touching were it is connected to the truck harness . i only saw one time were there was a bad factory harness for the 5 th wheel plug in the bed ,and had to run separate harnesses.

 

Thanks old dog, I checked all that when I did the original diagnosis and that was exactly where I started. I even traced all the wires that I could. I ran it by the dealer to check the body module just to rule it out and what do you know, bingo! Bad body module. Had them replace it and we're good to go. Thanks for the input.
