man u need to calm down. if u were driving around wasting fuel then that is your problem. I would only drive where I need to go. Also if the dealer doesn't have the part....guess what they will order it.

its not going to kill your motor.

Nope im not and my post was not intended to be informative. This is a forum, you want Chevy Customer Service then go to your local dealer.

Your ranting and raving over a rare found issue. Keep in contact with your dealer to get it rectified.

I'm happy with my 2007 5.3. I don't see any oil leaks. I check my oil every two weeks just to make sure everything looks good. Best of luck. Chevy will take care of you. All vehicles will have problems even if they are new. It's life.

nkh34, let the dude be. Some contribute, others, only take on these forums. Some even act like you're supposed to be at their beck and call. Start your Ignore list if you haven't already.

Default 2011 Silverado v6 wt model

March 6, 2012;

It has been two weeks since the oil pan gasket repair with no apparent leak. Since posting the problem on CF, Facebook and Chevrolet.com, I have been contacted buy 6 Silverado owners of 2010-2012 vehicles like mine that have experienced the same oil leak issue. Only two did not have to return for further seal or gasket replacement. I am hoping mine is fixed.
