2011 Silverado towing, gear ratio and tuner question
Long time reader new member.
Currently own a 2011 silverado 5.3 2wd with HD towing (9600lb gvwr) 3.42 gears 6 speed transmission and G80 rear axle
Have added S&B cold air intake and Borla touring exhaust with a little larger Trans cooler and stock wheels
I am just trying to improve my towing of a 5200lb 22 ft travel trailer. It does fairly well (hills of course are the exception).
Right now I am looking at the flashpaq pro plus 5850 to enhance my towing a little and in the future doing a gear change to 4.10.
My question is will this programmer do what is needed? and once I do the change to 4.10 site shows it will do the speedo changes but will it also reprogram the transmission as needed for the new gear ratio?
I don't want to do much more again just some changes to enhance my towing experience without buying a new rig
Thanks in advance
