Default 99' Silverado 1500 4.3L Running Problems

I have a 1999 Silverado that has been in my family since it had 12 miles on it. It was passed down to my brother whenever he turned 16, and it was given to me for my first vehicle. The truck has running problems, and the engine codes read a misfire to multiple misfires. We have spent a lot of money fixing the electrical parts, but it still says it misfires. I had my friends over who know their vehicles and they said it could be the fuel system. Has anyone have an issue with their fuel systems? Or any idea what it could be?

Welcome from Florida. Your problem could be caused by many things. First, is the check engine light on? If it is get it scanned and the code could lead you to the cause. You don't really give enough information.

The check engine is on, I have had it scanned and there are two codes for misfires. My family has had the spark plugs/wires replaced multiple times, had the distributor cap/rotor replaced, we have also put a new battery and installed a new alternator too. I do not know the last time anything for the fuel system has been worked on or replaced. I am trying to figure out what the fuel system is like in this truck to help identify the issue to see if it something simple as the gas filter, or fuel pump, or it is the injectors.

Is it still being driven regularly? If not, how old is the gas in the tank?
