I recently got a 99 Silverado 1500 and have had a few problems. One of them is if I make a hard turn at low rpms like to go into a parking spot the truck will die. I've also had a problem with the doors automatically locking when you put it in drive but not automatically unlocking when put in park. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Well the stalling could be a lot of issues. What kind of codes are you getting? Recently, my girlfriend's car had this issue. It was due to a drop in oil pressure. The cause was a crack in the oil pan. It could be a number of things. I don't know if the truck is necessarily supposed to unlock the doors when you put it in park.

 

The truck isn't throwing any codes from the stalling.
