I have a 1999 Silverado 5.3 with 157k. it runs great but has a bank one lean code. the only thing I can see is when it sits for a few days it has a strong gas smell when u start it. it goes through gas more than I think it should but that makes since if it has a lean code it will pour more fuel into it. I am pretty good with cars but im not sure where to go with this. I did a search and most people with this problem have idling problems or other performance issues. My truck runs great so im not sure where to go, I'm going to clean the MAF sensor and see where that get me. Any suggestions would be nice. thanks in advance for your help

 

My 2000 was pulling a lean, bank two. About 3 separate
cans of Sea Foam in three different half tank fill ups, cleared it up.
