Default 2015 1500 electrical upgrade questions

I plan to upgrade the alternator and add a dual battery setup to my 2015 1500 LT 5.3 (for towing/carrying an off-grid capable camper) but have encountered some issues. I need to run 2/0 AWG wiring from the second battery to the main battery, but the battery current sensor clamp, with a diameter of about 0.75 inches, currently holds two black insulated wires, making it impossible for the 2/0 cable to also fit. Is there a larger diameter battery current sensor available? will splicing the two cables currently going through the battery current sensor to the 2/0 cable work? If not, what are my other high current wiring options?

My 1500 has the OEM 150A alternator, the only GM upgrade I see is a 170A model. +20A isn't much of an upgrade. GM lists a 220A alternator (GM part # 84143539) for the 2015 2500. Will this fit in my 1500? Does anyone offer a quality aftermarket 220A - 350A alternator for my 1500?
