Default 2020 Silverado 6.2L V8 Engine Problems
I have a 2020 Silverado with the 6.2 V8 with 65k miles. The Chevrolet dealer told me it is having the exact issue causing the major recall on the V.8 2021 - 2024 but since I'm outside of the recall year they can't replace it for free. They said I'm going to need a full engine replacement. Does anyone have any recommendations on anything I can do?

One thing you can do is contact GM Customer assistance and ask. The 6.2 loss of propulsion campaign has explicit service procedures and guide line that have to be followed or the Dealer Eats the repair.
