I have a 2005 1500 single cab 5.3, and i really like how the 2500 hd hoods look... im sure you've all been asked this alot.. but will a 2500hd hood fit on my truck?

If you want the 06-07 style hood you have to change the grille also. other than that i belive there is nothing else different.
06-07 hood and grille is next on my list for my 05.

 

actually they are the same fom 1500 to 2500 because my buddy's 05 2500HD has the same hood as my 05 1500...
so you for sure want 06-07 hood and grille, i looked comparing my 05 and 07 and thats all i can see that needs to be changed. headlights and stuff are the same

 

alright i appreciate it, your right i was lookin at the 06-07 hoods, will everything just bolt right up? as far tas the grille and everything goes?

 

as far as i can tell it looks like it will all bolt on the same.
