4.8 to 5.3 Swap.?

I am thinking of swapping my 4.8 to the 5.3.. I have a 99 silverado 1500 rear wheel. What requirments do I need to swap? New ECM? etc..

I bought the truck with the blown 4.8.. and I can get the 5.3 from a friend for $500.

Is it called the PCM or ECM? anyways. How can I reprogram it instead of buying one and hoping the other truck had the same features.

No. You need to get the wiring harness from a truck with the 5.3.
