anyone know whats involved in swapping to the 4L80 trans in a 4x4 1/2 ton?
to me they look pretty much the same. 4L60 is a pile of **** that shouldnt even be in existance.

 

"racerx55" Hey, i have an 03 gmc sierra with a swapped tranny from a 4L60 to a 4L80. You need to have 2 parts replaced although im not quite sure which parts they are actually, its been a long time since i replaced the tranny.
