Default 4L60E Transmission Strong?

I have a 98 half ton with the 4L60E tranny and a 10 bolt rear end. My truck has 208,000 miles with a rebuilt transmission and I have a 96 Bayliner boat that I want to pull, but I'm not sure if I have a tranny cooler or if it will do anything to the tranny because the boat weighs about 2500-3000lbs. How do I tell if I have a tranny cooler or if I will be safe pulling the boat...

i tow my 246 shamrock thats over 5,000lbs with my 97 burb make sure it has an aux cooler for the trans it will look like a small radiator in front of the the condenser if it doesn't get one dont rely on the one in the radiator, my 97 has the same setup as you with 256,000 miles on it and i dont tow in overdrive you can find the cooler on the net or places like summit racing or jegs i think Pep boy's still has them on the self
