Default 4wd Issues

I have a 94 Silverado 1500, 5.7L. I have checked the fuzes, the wiring, and the linkage. Light doesn't come on to tell me if it's engaged or not. I can get into 4lo. Is it the acuator, or the front differential solenoid? Any help would be great! Thanks

It could be both, but the TSB suggests that you change the actuator.

Did you mean to say "can" get into 4 low,
