Default 4x4 ?

I was planning this spring to do some work and maintinence to my front end and the front dif is leaking from the one side so I figured I was going to drop it and replace the seals and all the lube and check all components as long as I was in that far and my question is how much of the front do I need to disassemble in order to drop the front dif, like the cv shafts cuz the drive shafts a nobrainer but do I need to remove the cv shafts in order to do this or just unbolt them from the diff.

You should be able to just unbolt the flanges but it's a pain to get to the top diff hanger. You can just remove the half shaft on the passenger side and split open the diff while it is still in place.
