My 2007 2500HD Duramax/Allison 4x4 is stuck in 4 low. It has the electonic dial switch. Went in to 4 wheel drive fine but now it won't shift out. I am about 600 miles from home and way out in the boonies. I am towing a 32 ft. 5th wheel. Help!

 

put the truck in neutral..then try putting it out of 4wd low..

 

bring it to autozone and have them run a check engine light check done on it, although you might not have a light on, a code for incomplete 4wd circuit might come up, i had the same problem with my 97, and end all be all of the situation was, the wires that go to the 4wd position switch were burnt through, so the computer couldnt tell if the tranfer case was in 2 or 4 wheel drive so it was unable to leave 4 low

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

You may be able to jog the truck out of 4WD low by switching to reverse, backing up a few feet, shift into drive go a few feet, then repeat a few times while trying to shift out of 4low. Sorry, sometimes the shift actuators in the pushbutton 4WD units tend to stick a little(lot).
