Default 5.3 Engine Trouble

Hi, I am new on here and in need of some advice. With just under 100,000 Kms on my 2006 Silverado 1500 my engine has had a partial failer. One of my push rods on the left bank snapped and caused damage to that head. It is covered by warranty but they are only replacing the left head. Should I be concerned about the difference in wear between a new head and that of the original head with 100,000 kms?

I wouldn't worry, each head works independant of each other.

Well, I got my Silverado back from the dealer...drove the four hours back to my home. On the way it developed a very noticeable "tap" when I pulled over on the side of the road. I continued home and the tap was there the whole trip till I pulled onto my own street. I took it into the local Chev dealer but they had it for three days and didn't hear anything abnormal...today I had low oil pressure on start. Any ideas? I need this fixed soon as I only have 300kms left on my GMPP extended warranty.
