Default 5.3L vortec from 2001 chevy gauge sensing ?'s

Im putting a 5.3 vortec from a 2001 silverado, backed by a 4L60e transmission in a custom built rock buggy. I am building a custom dash with Summit gauges. I plan on have a Speedo, Tach, Oil Press, Water Temp guages. I am wondering how these guages sense on this truck/engine set-up. For example is Speed a physical sense(spinning cable ****) or is it a digital sensor? I'm pretty sure oil press and water temp are both physical sensors, correct me if im wrong and they do tie into the computer. And tachometer i am not sure if it is some sort of physical sensor or digital.. If someone could clarify that would be great i want to buy guages soon, and do not want to buy the wrong ones.

For instance this is an Analog Mechanical

And this is an Analog Digital

stock gauges are all electrical.
Ect uses a thermistor, oil pressure uses a electrical transducer, vss a magnetic pick up, tach signal probably from the ignition system.

It would be easy to use the factory cluster...you don't like it?

Thanks a lot Tech2! I just figured it would be more fun and look a lot nicer to build my own from aluminum, I'm running a fuel cell so I won't have a gas gauge but I and just focused on the essentials. I already spent 240 bucks on these 4 gauges and they are all electrical gauges except the speedo is mechanical it utilizes the cable.... Idk if there is a way to convert it to a mechanical pick up? Seeing as I have 4.56 geared axles and will be running 40 inch tires.. It might be easier to calibrate the speedo as supposed to buying one of those electrical calibrators. I just figured gauges set in aluminum would look real plush
