6.0 lifter noise, maybe
Hi guys, I have a 2002 Sierra with the 6.0 that has 160,000 miles on it.
Excellent oil pressure, no smoke, or whatever, and lots of power.
The only problem it has, is when I let off the gas, I can hear either the lifters,
rocker arms, or maybe the valves.
It doesn't do it under throttle.
Someone said the 6.0 Vortecs were bad about rocker arm and push rod problems, but I dunno. This is my first vortec.
Any ideas ( I know it's hard without hearing it)?
