700r4 trans swap

My 700r4 in my '88 3/4 ton 5.7L V8 is bad. Would the 700r4 trans in a 1990 Scottsdale 4.3L V6 fit and work fine?

yep, they use the same bell housing. Now, if the output speed sensor is the same? Who knows?
