72 Chevy K20 Idiling Problem

My truck will idle fine while in park, but once in drive it idles really low and almost dies when at a stop sign/light. What could cause this?

72? The idle speed adjusted too low would do it. It's supposed to be set with the transmission in drive, isn't it?

I've adjusted the idle in park because it was low. But I've never known to adjust it in drive. But Ill try.
