yea.ok... so i put wd40 in the fluid and i was turning the wheel back and forth as my dad was looking at it
he says "oh i see whats wrong"
the belt for the steering (i dont know what its called) was a half an inch to short so it was loose so it was just slipping
so i got a new one
smooth as all hell haha thanks so much for the help though
when i was steering before my dad noticed it was loose i think i felt it getting a little easier because of the wd40

oh and to kevin you are right i do have a heater core

i am going to try to get pictures up really soon so check back in awhile and i should have them posted

thats a nice truck!

get yourself a few cans of brake parts cleaner from autozone.

see all the oil on the top of the block?? spray it down and clean it up. just do it out side with a light breeze (if possible) . do not start up for 30 minutes till the fumes disapate

whats the CID of your engine??

If I remember correcxtly, anything over chevy 350 stock, is a big block due to its physical size.
