Its looking good. if you are going to go for looks under the hood get a nice chrome air filter housing and a k&n. that will look nice shouldn't cost more than 75 bucks for the pair. oh and some blue wire loom plastic covers would set it apart a little also. you have a nice platform to get going.

ORIGINAL: flatxland

ok so a small update on project fix my truck
i fixed my blinkers (i don't think i mentioned these because i knew it was easy to fix)
i got new door hinge pins which should make it easy to close my doors
and i also got a new speeodometer cable which should fix my speedometer problem
they are being shipped so it may take awhile but if they work then i will tell you guys
thanks for the help so far!!!!

make sure you grease that speedo cable before install

spray the hinges with silicone during install and after. it lasts longer than anything else.

blinkers are for sissies!

enjoy that ol ride!

the k&n filter will allow a little better airflow as well, jsut figured might as well go all out and get the chrome housing also

can you guys explain to me air bags so i can raise my truck when i need to go over bumps. i love the way it sits i just want to raise it so i dnt have to go 2 mphs over speedbumps. so i figured maybe get airbags just for the front
what do you think?
how much will that cost?
what do i need?

Costs I am not sure. check 4wheelparts.com I know you will need a compressor, onboard controls, some have a automatic ride control while others are manual adjustments. I have been considering them for the back of my truck

I think there is a 4wheelparts on Balboa or something like that. there are a ton of places in the valley that are like speed shops and they will be able to go over all options and quote prices.
