Question 76 th400 swap

I have a 76 c10 that has a blown th350, and I have a good th400. I was wondering what all I am going to need to convert it over?

I know I need a yoke but which one?

anything else???

im pretty sure you are fine with the crossmembr, but measure to make sure.
you will need the slip yolk from the turbo 400
you should measure the 350 trans bellhousing to tip and same with the 400, if they are different find a junkyard driveshaft,
linkage shoud be the same
thats it really, minor stuff after that

The kickdown and throttle pressure on a 350 is cable controlled. TH400 uses an electric kickdown.

You will need to relocate the crossmember, it is further back. Driveshaft should work, just need a 32 spline slip yoke. Plumbing and Linkage is the same.

Torque converter has a different bolt circle, but most flexplates have a dual pattern, if yours isn't, the dual pattern flexplate should be an easy junkyard find.

Part Number for the yoke is GM (PN 14075214).

A junk yard pedal mount switch will take care of that.

I forgot to ask, what motor is this going with?
