Default 85 Chevy c20 Brake Problem

After driving a few miles, I smell "heat" coming from the front left wheel well, and the whole truck begins to shudder and try to pull to the left. I've noticed that it mostly does this after pressing the brake.

After looking around the source of the smoke and smell, I've narrowed it down to being the brakes, as the symptoms and signs all seem to point to that.

I know NOTHING of brake systems other than replacing a Master Cylinder. Someone suggested replacing the caliber or return springs on the brakes themselves.

Is this sound advice, and where can I find a diagram of "How"?

Collapsed brake hose or bad caliper.

We got it. It was a bad caliper. Thanks, though!
