89 k1500 350 5.7 timing questions
Hello, new to the forums first post!
I just bought a 1989 chevy k1500 for 1700.00. I needed to change the *Distribution cap. While changing it the screw to the new one snaped in the thread hole. So i removed the rod to remove the part of the screw stuck in the screw hole. When i put every thing back together, it back fired then didnt start back up. My questions are as follows
1.) i cant read the lable what is the itital timing so i can get it running again?
2.) i dont have the timing light i need to be able to get it to the autozone down the road, is there any way to get the timing "good enough" to drive SLOWY down to the store?
3.) will the itital timing even get the truck to atleast idle?*
