Default '91 1500 5.7 TBI Questions

A few months ago I had my engine swapped out from a 5.0 TBI to a junk yard 5.7 TBI. Well since then I have had a few problems with it, First when you are looking at the main harness by the distributor, there is a purple fuse-able link there that nothing connects to? I looked all around there and found no wire disconnected. Then when the engine is under a load like lets say 3,000 RPMS or above there is a knocking sound that goes away when you let out of the throttle? Could it be a timing chain slapping the case? But is only does it at high RPMS. I don't know if it continues to do it at high rpms because as soon as it does it i let out of it then it triggers my service engine soon light. Finally my tranny will not kick down right away when I punch it at 50 mph or so. Seems like it takes it a few seconds to do so. I have checked the TV cable and it is adjusted correctly.

I have not had a chance to try and pull a code on it yet. Maybe this evening when I get home I will take her out and try to get a code.
