91 silverado blower motor.

91 silverado blower motor.
I have a 91 silverado 1500 extended cab. Blower motor works in all modes, just does not blow much air. Been told this is characteristic of this model. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the idea. I will check it out. I also thought about pulling the blower motor out and cleaning the squirrel cage real good. I will let you know how I make out.

I had a similar problem, when I removed the blower the coil was completely clogged.
cleaned off the face and air flow was restored.
