I have 93 chevy 1500 5.7L 2wd with 135,000 Kms just the other day i replace the oil and oil filter and now the oil pressure is reading at high end of pressure guage and can now hear a new noise comeing from the rear of the motor it sounds like. what could be possible causes of this and sollutions.

 

Something is causing a blockage in the oil system of the engine, probably the oil filter since this started when you installed the new one.It sounds as if oil is not flowing through your engine. Don't run it until you find and fix the problem.

Have you double checked to see that you have the right filter? It's going to be pretty hard to install one incorrectly in a way that would cause a blockage, but there might be something inside it.
