Default 93 chev 350 no start

i have a 1993 chevy with 350
my problem is once you stop the car it will not start. the thing is if i prime engine with soom gas it will start and keep running until you turn off ignition. when you try to restart it it wont start. it seems to be pumping gas, also recent fuel replaced. ignition working fine. stumped.

what do you mean by prime? and you should be able to see if the injectors are spraying or not if you take off the air cleaner

Check your fuel pressure and see if it drops off, probably need a pump

Default 350 no start

by prime i mean puuring some gas in the throdle body. once i do this i will start and run with no problum until i turn it off then it wom't start unless i repeat this. i checked the injectors when is someone is trying to start it but not a drop of gas came out. gas is coming out of line but i did not check pressure. seems strange that it works fine onced it is running. i replaced fuej pump about 3 monthhs ago. i guess that still doesn't mean it couldn't be bad. i have replaced the fuel pump around 4 times in last couple years but most were due to ethenol in gas which ate up that small rubber line with fuel pump.

If it runs good after starting the fuel pump itself is probably good. If you turn the key on and let it sit with the key on and give the pump time to build up pressure, will it start then?
If it does then you have a bad check valve in the fuel pump assembly. I had that problem and added a check valve in the fuel line near the tank and no more problems. Easier and cheaper than changing the pump.
