Hi! I was wondering what performance parts that i could get to make my truck a little faster. It's a 1993 silverado 4.3l V6 =[ I know this isn't the fastest engine but i know i can get a little more HP out of it. I'm thinking about getting a throttle body spacer and a intake system but what else would help?

 

look on craigslist you should be able to find a decent small block for a decent price. by the time u spend 300 if not more on a spacer and intake u could find a good small block ur money into that instead...just a thought

 

Yeah i was thinking of getting a new engine but don't know what would fit. Whats a fast engine that would fit into my truck and how much would it cost me?

 

if im thinkin right the engine bay on a 93 is big enough to fit a big block. however in my opinion the best engine (with a little work to it of course) is a 350 small block. depending on what u get and where u get it from anywhere from 300 to 3000 maybe more maybe less. just depends what u get

hmmm. u might be able to find one for around 300 on craigslist. then look on summitracing. id say with a 1000 u could get a new card and intake manifold...maybe a K&N intake system.
