Hey guys, I'm new here. I am going to buy a 94 z71 silverado, and It does not have the tailgate with the silver strip on the back with "silverado" on it.



where can you find these? or is it too hard to find individually.

you can find those tailgates at a junkyard for cheap. i got one for my old truck for like $50. those tailgates seem to get a white kind of "rust" aound the letters, just a warning. if i remember right, they also had a recall on the tailgate wire cords. the cords that hold the tailgate when its down. so i would just get some new one if you get it from a junk yard. hope this helps, good luck!

 

Just cruise eBay for a duplicate decal
if you cannot find one but found a similar one, contact the seller and ask about a custom decal.
