Default Nice truck

Don't lower it! I know that looks nice and all that, but won't that waste payload?
Why not build a fast car? Anyways I have a 94 Silverado with 5.7. When I bought it, someone took out two leafs from each side to lower the rear. Looked stupid. I went to a junk yard and bought a complete set of springs. Truck looks and rides a lot better. Oh and it's a long bed. 35,000 on engine and tranny. Take your time and do it right! Good luck!

I'm not really concerned with payload & working with the truck. I have a '79 K5 Blazer frame I'm looking to swap a 88-98 single cab Chevy onto & a flatbed. That'll be my work/toy.

Still having troubles finding a driveshaft to fit. Looks like I'll need one around 84 3/4" long. I have an 80 3/4, an 82", & a 96". I thought this'd be easy.

New seats. Electric, clean, no tears rips or stains. Need to find head rests, though. Got them cheap, look a lot better than the tore up leather I had before.

Got another 700R4. Supposed 1,200 miles on rebuild. Going in truck tomorrow. My third one.

I've also decided not to lower it. Going to try & trade the 18's for some Mustang or Ranger wheels some muscle looking wheels.

Blah blah blah... Beginning to lose interest in it... I have a short attention span.

She's wet.... Got the black hood & new clear turn signals.. Also got some 13/16 lug nuts to replace my 7/8 lug nuts so I can run my adapterrs.. Yes I'm aware it needs taller tires.. Lol

Transmission, tires, GMC grill (looking for an insert for the middle still) clear turn signals 18's, started detrimming sides. I got an idea how I want to do the bed... I'd still like to lower it another couple inches, & buy some new shocks!

Shaved the bed rails, just spray painted for now. I'm thinking of rhinolining the inside of the bed. Picked up a TSC tool chest too, fits good.

Motor has developed a rod knock. I think now I'm going to take front clip off pull motor/trans & put a 5.3 LS in it. Replace front fenders (maybe fix drivers side) & section the front bumper to tuck under grill. I'm afraid to really think about how long & how expensive this is going to get. Lol

Since last post have shaved tailgate/relocated handle. Back on old school Chevy rallys with brand new 235s. Burnt another trans up. Full exhaust from headers to both sides in front of wheels 2 1/2" with dual thrush welded mufflers, & an x pipe. Picke up an Edelbrock Performer intake going to see about finding a tb spacer & then polishing the tb ports & shaving the butterflies for better air flow, while it's all apart. Deleted all AC/heat stuff (didn't work anyways). Working on making the front bumper a roll pan, also. I totalled my daily driver & have been focusing on putting it back together. Sometime soon I will pull this back into the shop & work on it again.
