Hey all, i have a 1995 GMC Sierra auto and sometimes when i go to start it and turn it over the gear light that indicated what gear its in doesnt come on and when it doesnt come on the speedometer doesnt work either. Also when this happens it seems as though the truck doesnt run as fast and the tranny lags on shifting gears. Kind of weird, what do you guys think it could be?? Any comments or concerns are greatly appreciated

Thats what i was thinking! Is this a common thing with these trucks because i know somebody else who owns a 90 cheyene and has the same problem!
