95 GMC Sierra Instrument Cluster
#1

The previous owner of the truck I just bought had placed a flame overlay on the instrument cluster. I thought this looked tacky so I went to see if I could remove it so as to be back to the stock cluster. Well when I was trying to peel back the overlay to see what was behind it, the overlay came flying off and I ripped off the needles for my battery, oil pressure, engine temp, and fuel level. These are not working anymore.
1. Can I just go to a junkyard and get a new cluster, if so what range of years can be used as a replacement? (There are no wires that go into the back... I don't know how to describe it, It just pops in and out, no wiring harness, if that helps.)
2. Do I have to go to a local dealership to do something like this?
It is a 95 GMC Sierra K1500 5.7L w/ automatic transmission.
Thanks for your time in reading this post.
